Rueda de copa de 7", 9 - 1/4" - PCD está agotado y se enviará tan pronto como vuelva a estar disponible.
- Aggressive PCD cup wheel for heavy hand-grinder coating removal — the cup-wheel version of the same PCD technology used in floor-grinder Piranha tools, packaged for 7" angle grinders. The 9 polycrystalline diamond segments scrape and rip surface coatings off the substrate rather than grinding them away, removing thick epoxy overlays, heavy urethane, multi-layer paint, mastic, glue, and waterproofing membranes much faster than a metal-bond cup wheel can.
- 9-segment / 1/4" PCD as the balanced choice between aggression and control — the 9-segment count splits the difference between the maximum-aggression 6-segment (concentrated pressure, very deep scratch) and the finer 12-segment (more controlled cut, shallower scratch). The 1/4" PCD bite depth handles thicker coatings (over 3mm), heavy urethane, and aggressive stock removal. Choose 9-segment when you need 1/4" cut depth but want slightly better balance and somewhat less aggressive scratch pattern than the 6-segment.
- Built specifically for edges, corners, and detail prep on heavy coatings — the 7" cup-wheel format is the right answer for places a walk-behind PCD grinder can't reach: perimeters, around columns, on stair treads, in tight commercial spaces, and on vertical surfaces. Particularly suited to commercial coating-removal jobs where the field crew runs a walk-behind PCD on the main slab and a hand crew works the perimeter with this same aggressive profile to keep the scratch pattern consistent.
- Scraping action prevents segment gumming — the PCD design's signature advantage over standard diamond cup wheels: the scraping action lifts and clears coating debris rather than smearing it across the segments. Standard diamond cup wheels load up and stop cutting when tackling sticky materials like urethane or carpet adhesive; PCD keeps cutting at full speed. Suitable for both wet and dry use on concrete, tile, and asphalt.
- Plan for follow-up grinding to clean up the PCD scratch pattern — 1/4" PCDs cut aggressively and leave a deep scratch pattern in the concrete underneath the coating. Always plan a follow-up metal-bond grinding pass (typically starting at 16 or 25 grit) before progressing through standard prep or polishing — or before coating application, since most coatings won't bond properly to a raw PCD profile. Best paired with a dust shroud + HEPA vacuum for OSHA silica compliance (29 CFR 1926.1153) during indoor work. Always verify the wheel's stamped max RPM against your grinder's rated speed
