DiamaPro 7" Wet/Dry Honeycomb Pad, 50 grit está agotado y se enviará tan pronto como vuelva a estar disponible.
- Coarse-grit resin polishing pad for the first resin step — 50 grit is the most aggressive resin pad in the honeycomb line, used as the first resin step after metal-bond grinding has opened the floor. Removes the deeper scratch pattern left by the final metal step (typically 80–120 grit) and starts the transition toward a polished surface. Part of DiamaPro Systems' resin polishing pad line, calibrated for cutting speed and tool life.
- Flexible honeycomb resin design for even pressure and dust evacuation — the hexagonal pattern molded into the pad's face creates large channels that evacuate dust during dry use and water during wet use, preventing the diamond surface from loading up. The honeycomb structure also flexes around contours and lippage, maintaining consistent contact pressure across the entire pad face — important for an even scratch pattern before progressing to finer grits.
- Wet/Dry dual-mode operation — usable in either condition: wet polishing reduces heat and extends pad life, dry polishing is more convenient on job sites without water access. Note: a backing pad with hook-and-loop attachment is required to mount this pad to a 7" hand grinder or stand-up edger. Compatible with most 7" handheld grinders and stand-up edge machines.
- Critical category distinction: resin pad, not metal segment — honeycomb pads are resin-bonded and run after the metal-bond grinding sequence is complete. A typical concrete polishing progression: metal-bond grinding (16/25/40/80 grit) → transitional / hybrid diamonds → resin polishing pads (50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3000). Starting the resin sequence here at 50 grit is the standard approach when the floor is coming out of a clean 80–120-grit metal pass.
-The honing step for prep, stain, or sealer applications — per industry guidance, 50 grit is also commonly used on its own for prepping floors before thin-mil coatings, low-solids sealers, stains, or densifier applications. The pad opens the surface enough for the coating to penetrate without grinding so far that the slab becomes too smooth to bond properly. Many decorative-finish workflows stop at 50-grit resin, densify, then continue to higher grits only if a polished finish is required.
