Diamabrush - 16” – 100 Grit Metal Spring-Loaded CCW Tool

- Step 1 of the Diamabrush concrete polishing system — the 100-grit metal-bonded tool is the foundational prep step before progressing to the polymer polishing tools. Metal-bonded diamonds are welded to flexible spring-steel blades that keep the diamonds in constant contact with the floor, continuously exposing fresh cutting points and retaining sharp edges throughout the tool's life.

- Designed for 18" floor buffers with a 16" working block — counter-clockwise (CCW) rotation, fitting the standard NP-9200 TRU-FIT clutch plate. Most manufacturers recommend a brush block 2 inches smaller than the buffer size, which is why this 16" tool pairs with an 18" buffer (and similarly the 19" buffer takes the 17" version of the same tool).

- Up to 25,000 sq ft of blade life with replaceable blades — when the spring-steel blades wear out, swap them in minutes using the ZCONBLD100R16 16-pack blade kit. Two screws per blade, no need to replace the whole tool. The Concrete Prep Plus version of this tool runs up to 50,000 sq ft if higher tool life matters more than upfront cost.

- Critical machine weight restriction — the flexible spring-loaded blades are engineered for standard floor buffers and auto scrubbers below 115 lbs of pad pressure. Weighted or heavy single-disc machines (175 RPM, ride-on scrubbers) can cause blade breakage that is not covered under warranty. For heavier machines, step up to the Concrete Prep Plus version instead.

- Also abrades existing coatings for recoats — beyond initial concrete prep, this tool is widely used to abrade an existing epoxy floor before applying a fresh coat. The 100-grit profile leaves a uniform mechanical anchor for the recoat without aggressive removal. After this step, the polymer polishing sequence begins (50 grit gold → 100 grit black → finer grits) for a polished finish, or coat directly for a refinish job.
